Lymphatics

"Every organ and system in your body requires healthy lymphatics to function properly, and to such an extent that in the future we may be treating a wide range of diseases by treating the lymphatics."
- Dr Stanley Rockson

What is the

Lymphatic System?

The lymphatic system is your body's natural detoxification network. I call it your sewerage system. It is responsible for filtering waste, draining excess fluids, and supporting immune function. Unlike the circulatory system, which relies on the heart to pump blood, the lymphatic system has no central pump—it depends on movement, breath, and manual stimulation to flow efficiently. When the lymphatic system becomes sluggish or congested, toxins accumulate, inflammation rises, and pain can intensify. Just like changing the filter on a fish tank.

The lymphatic system plays a crucial role in detoxification, immune support, and nervous system regulation, making it an essential component of true holistic healing. By integrating lymphatic drainage with somatic therapy, we create space for the body to release stored tension, reduce inflammation, process emotional stress, and restore balance from within

Pre Health Assessment

During the consultation process, we discuss your past history, current health & any issues you are having around your lymphatics establishing your WHY for the treatment.

Gentle, yet Powerful

The lymphatic drainage technique is very light & rhythmical to mimic the flow of the lymph but don’t be fooled by gentle pressure! The lymph system operates just under your skin, therefore, deep pressure actually prohibits the flow and creates a blockage. Bringing a whole new meaning to ‘less is more’ work areas where traditional massage therapy usually avoid with such as the stomach. This powerful technique offers you a whole new meaning to relaxation feeling it from the inside out.

Therapeutic wellness treatment rather than a massage

Using the VODDER technique for post op & health, there is no tool used or oil to maintain grip rather than slide. We open all the doors (nodes) to start to movement of the flow. Working from the chest out, we gradually open the door with specific techniques to ‘pump out’ blockages, soothe swollen nodes and draining waste, toxin, fluid build up. Additionally, you can add extra time to your appointment to include any other modalities - Reiki etc.

Aftercare plan / advice giving at the end of treatment to ensure you keep deepening the relationship with your lymph system as what you do daily matters most!
