Somatic Therapy is a bottom up approach working with the body on a deeper level to release and regulate the nervous system; which in return, relieves physical pain, mental health symptoms and energetic blockages. Through the power of healing touch, breath and coaching, we explore you as a whole and learn to thrive again.
We access the places where unexpressed emotion has created tension and work to give these space to be felt and expressed through Somatic Coaching.
Somatic practices aim to guide you towards being more present & at ease with yourself & your inner experience. They enable you to listen, acknowledge & understand your nervous system, internal signals & cues, even the challenging ones that sometimes we push away, which in turn helps you use your body as a tool for healing from habitual patterns, stressful events, and trauma stored in your body. Somatic Practices can help reduce or release stress, tension and pain, allowing you to feel more connected and at home in your own body. A big part of this practice includes working on your mindset; acknowledge with openness and compassion, and embrace wholeheartedly who and where you are in your life.

This is an organic package is created with the experience of my own trauma journey with PTSD etc and tools of my somatic therapy training with a real genuine passion to help others.
Unexplained physical pain is interlinked with unresolved trauma so this is a different / more layered offering for any of my chronic pain clients.
Somatic coaching is a body based bottom up approach to process the unprocessed emotions, memory or trauma through the lens of nervous system healing. 80% of our communication to heal is from the body to brain axis rather than the top down approach at 20%. Profound results can be seen when approach of healing through the mind aswell as the body. We work with where you are right now and help you unfold your blockages to move forward.
What the mind cannot process or before we can remember & have the ability to regulate our nervous system, we store that in the fascial tissue of the soma.
Soma - “living body in its wholeness” - a living breathing energetic state of being.

The method of coaching that I use is the ’Soma, Psyche & Soul’ method. A trauma informed holistic approach to sustainability in your journey drawing in all aspects of you - the physical, psyche, emotional & spiritual body.
Taking the baby steps in understand what is happening for you right now as we unfold the layers of the onion. I meet you exactly where you are in the process of your journey. We create understanding of the nervous system through polyvagal theory. What needs are not being met here? What is this inner critic saying? Spending time on how you can manage with what is in the container working towards daily practice of nervous system regulation.

Embrace all of your emotions into the fullness of your experience. Understanding the IFS model and that you hold no bad or shameful parts.
Now we have established of what we are aware of, we can start to stabilise and make changes in the right direction beginning to find shift.
EMBODY is the deeper stage into nervous system stability and regulation. We move into building inner and outer resources moving out of disconnection to a space of self trust and the ability to self regulate so the nervous system has a reliable resource of safety in the soma. We explore what conscious choice you can make in your life that will meet your needs especially the inner critic.
This is where she find our inner calling / souls truth and move into a space of empowered feminine leadership within our own body. Learning deeper somatic practices to release and regulate the inner body amongst the external world. At this stage, we aim to have you back in the driving seat and not the let the stories of the trauma control your life anymore.
Let’s move from a sense of hopelessness trying to find solutions to a space of worthiness, acceptance and compassion. You are not broken. Nothing wrong with you.
Each coaching session is 60 minutes long with coaching exercises / practices to explore with resources to work with at home.
I like to check in regular between sessions at a frequency that suits you, usually weekly.
My passion is holding that space for you to be heard, accepted and loved.
